UrgentGreens

We are an ORGANIC, PERPETUAL, CONTAINER, FARM. Our project started off as a means to feed our family and friends. Eventually, Family, friends, and locals started donating helpful contributions. Recycled water bottles for our seed planters. We cut them in half and Recycle the tops. For our large bins we acquired cut plastic feed barrels. Hundreds of donated conventional black nursery containers is a spirit send. this is Just to name a few essential contributions. We thank all those who donate time and things. From the bottom of our hearts; we would not exist otherwise.

What We Do

We have been growing vegetables for almost ten years, using the pooh of our two horses, We use it in combination with other soils and sands on the property. NON-GMO seeds, and NO PESTICIDES. We grow something year round. We allow all of our plants to go to flower/seed at will. We collect and use the seeds for the next year. The bees love us here. We feed bees and people.

Our major vegetables are greens. Giant Red Mustards, Fordhook Chard, Several types of Kale , and Collards. We grow many kinds of   Peppers.

We are subject to grow any vegetable that folks want. If they supply NON-GMO seeds, and a small market for the on going picking.

We sale fresh vegetables, succulents, seeds, and baby veggie plants.

Come Walk About

We are not yet USDA Organic certified. After checking out the cost to participate we decided to sale our veggies as close as possible to conventional prices. Our farm is not quite big enough at this point to pay for the right to bare the name ORGANIC. Even though we are truely Organic we will not ask elevated Organic prices. Being that we are a Private, personal entity: We allow "Walk Abouts"  of the farm, So folks can see how we grow. (only thing we ask, please sign a "Responsible for Your own Personal Injury" form.) Broken down vessels can't tend to obligations. VeggieLove is a great start.

In Our Near Future

We have been looking into starting a "CSA" (community supported Agriculture). Most CSA's collect monies up front, we rather have subscribers sign a honor slip.
